CEO SUITE Celebrates Youth in New Center Launch
Last November 4, 2015, CEO SUITE celebrated the grand opening of their latest centre at Sahid Sudirman Center in Jakarta. Apart from the launching the new centre, CEO SUITE also invited clients such as Uber, Twitter, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Amore Pacific, and Incheon Airport plus business partners to a be part of “planting the seeds of change” to support youths in Indonesia through The Learning Farm.
Co-founded by Ms. Gouri Mirpuri and Ms. Mee Kim, the Learning Farm is a non-profit social entrepreneurship program that empowers marginalized and vulnerable youth (ages 14-25 years old) through a 100-day residential program. Serving as an educational centre, The Learning Farm trains school drop-outs, students from low-income families, and former drug and alcohol users on farming skills, supported by adults who mentor them, and help them develop useful skills and meaningful relationships over the course of their lives.
The joyous event was also graced by His Excellency Ambassadors from Korea, United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Ireland and many influential politicians including Minister Gita and Mr. H.S. Dillon. All TLF board members and supporters who graced the Opening Gala, are believers in the power of education as a precursor of change that will lead Indonesia into a better tomorrow for all.
CEO SUITE President Ms. Mee Kim, together with the committee members, raised funds through an auction. Through the generosity from the Belgian, Canadian, and German Ambassadors, auction winners had the unique opportunities to dine at the Excellency’s residences.
The event’s success was also made possible with the help and support from H.E. German Ambassador Witschel, H.E. Belgian Ambassador Herman, H.E. Canadian Ambassador Bobiash, AMUZ Fine Dining, Alila Seminyak Bali, Zulu Helmets, Tritunggal Kania Utama, JW Marriott, Amore Pacific, PT Kones, PT KMK Global Sports, Senayan Golf Club, Takumi Restaurant, Papertree Décor, Aprez Catering, and Wolf Blass.
